EDMONTON — The Ice Cross Downhill World Championship season finale comes to Edmonton this weekend. The team competition is on Friday, March 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The World Championship takes place on Saturday, March 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event is free to attend. However, viewing areas are first-come, first-served.
Find a good spot
Since the race is long, there is not one spot where you can watch the entire race in person. However, there are several spots organizers suggest watching from.
You’ll be able to see the action live from:
– Louise McKinney Park (view of finish line)
– Below the Shaw Conference Centre on Grierson Hill Road
– Jasper Avenue (view of starting gate)
– Churchill Square
